Fintech scouting and consumer dynamics in Mexico City

In order to help a major fin-tech player develop a successful launch strategy on the Mexican market, we needed to better understand the local context, market and consumers when it comes to online shopping.

So we travelled to Mexico City with the aim of learning how Mexicans behave when the pay and shop online, what their favorite payment methods are, what their attitude to credit is and what constitutes a good payment experience. By speaking with heavy online shoppers we gained contextual insights that would help our client in setting the final market and communication strategy and enter the market with confidence and clarity.
